As tradition dictates, Great Northern’s trails are opened to runners seeking new challenges on a route that is otherwise only accessible to golfers on a daily basis.

As tradition dictates, Great Northern’s trails are opened to runners seeking new challenges on a route that is otherwise only accessible to golfers on a daily basis. Great Northern Run, which will be held for the third time in 2027, is your opportunity to test yourself across varied terrain with gentle hills, sharp turns and beautiful surroundings – all in an atmosphere defined by nature, tranquillity and exclusivity.
The route is a 5 km loop, which can be run once for 5 km or twice for 10 km.
For those who prefer a more leisurely experience, it is also possible to walk the 5 km at this year’s Great Northern Walk, which takes place the day before Great Northern Run.
After the race, you can add an exquisite lunch in the restaurant, which must be pre-ordered. It will not be possible to purchase lunch on race day.
