Treatment of the Month
Treatment of the Month: Warm Embrace
The treatment of the month is for those who want to try something different – without letting go of the familiar.
We dream of inspiring you to new experiences – and new ways to feel yourself.
Some experiences are quickly forgotten. Others stay with you. The Treatment of the Month is an opportunity to find these experiences.
WARM EMBRACE (90 MINUTES)
Warm Embrace is a therapeutic wellness treatment that combines heated Akwaterra stones with a deeply relaxing approach, where the warmth helps release tense muscles, ease pain and stimulate blood circulation.
Warm Embrace envelops the body in a soothing warmth that invites calm and well-being while balancing the nervous system and gently opening up the muscles. The deep warmth promotes the body’s natural healing process, leaving a sense of inner balance and renewed energy.

Duration: 90 minutes
The minimum age limit for treatment at Great Northern Spa is 14 years.
Light therapy is a gentle LED treatment that works in the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating the skin cells. The treatment is often used cosmetically and can, among other things:
- Reduce acne and even out skin tone
- Improves skin structure and provides anti-aging effect
- Support healing and regeneration of the skin
Light therapy can also be used to support winter depression, as the light mimics natural daylight and can help boost energy levels.
The light mask can be purchased for all our 90-minute treatments, except Good Flow and Mother’s Treat.
To get the most out of your massage, you can start with a stay in our infrared sauna before your treatment. With Infrared sauna, you get a gentle but deep heat stimulation that:
- Increases blood circulation
- Relieves muscle tension and promotes recovery
- Helps the body eliminate waste products and promote cell renewal
- Promotes relaxation, lowers stress and can support better sleep
The heat optimally prepares the body for the subsequent treatment, making both skin and muscles more receptive and enhancing the effect of the massage.
