Mark your calendars for August 13-16, 2026, when the Danish Golf Championship will once again take place on the DP World Tour. This time the tournament moves to Funen – more specifically to Great Northern in Kerteminde, which will host Denmark’s largest professional golf tournament for the first time. And it’s going to be spectacular!

From day one, Great Northern has been described as a facility created for events of the very highest level. The course is designed by Nicklaus Design, the facilities are among the most exclusive in Northern Europe, and the surroundings provide a setting that matches the ambitions behind the tournament.
For the players, a good test awaits and where the wind is almost always a factor that can turn the game on its head. This makes the Great Northern a unique challenge – and a perfect destination for the DP World Tour.
One thing is certain: When world-class golf is played in Kerteminde in August 2026, it will be an experience not to be missed. And won’t all of Denmark be hoping to see a Dane at the top of the leaderboard when the last putt falls on Sunday, August 16?
