Tee shots and the transport/approach shot make up about 70 percent of the difference between a player using 100 strokes and a player using 70 strokes – on average. The number of birdies accounts for only 4 of the 30 strokes. A large proportion are penalty shots off the tee or missed second shots such as toppes or where the ground is hit first.

Therefore, there is no getting around the fact that the long shots must be improved if you want to achieve a much better score. If you want to hit the best drives and fairway shots in your 4-ball, this course is definitely for you.
