Great northern spa

Rules of order

Great Northern has the following rules of conduct for stays in and around the Spa area. The rules of conduct have been adopted to ensure a Spa environment that invites presence, contemplation and relaxation with room for everyone.


Please note that only registered hotel guests or spa guests who register as a guest with a valid photo ID are allowed to use the spa area. If you cannot show a valid photo ID, you cannot be registered and you will, therefore, not get access to the spa area.

As a guest, you must familiarise yourself with the rules prior to your visit to the spa area. If you cannot accept the rules, you are asked not to visit the spa area.


Rules of order:

1. As a guest, you must always follow the rules of conduct, staff instructions and signs in the area.

2. Only the following paying registered guests are allowed to stay in the spa area, registered hotel guests or guests registered with a valid photo ID.

3. Only guests over 18 years of age are allowed to use the spa area.

4. ID must be presented when requested by staff.

5. Use of the Spa area pools is at your own risk.

6. Show consideration and respect for staff and other guests. Noisy, shouting and loud behavior is not allowed, and traffic must be subdued.

7 Smoking, use of electronic cigarettes and consumption of euphoriant substances is not permitted in indoor or outdoor areas. It is not permitted to consume or be under the influence of drugs while staying at Great Northern.

8. It is not permitted to pour water, oil or anything else on the sauna heaters.

9. Inappropriate behavior, touching, approaching and talking is not allowed.

10. It is not permitted to use electronic devices with cameras or record images and videos in the changing rooms and Spa area.

11. Threatening, harassing or dominating behavior, as well as permanent residence in certain areas is not allowed.

12. It is not allowed to enjoy food and drinks on Great Northern’s premises.

13. It is not allowed to play music and sound while staying in the Spa area.

14. seats in the Spa area cannot be reserved for Spa guests who are not already present.

15. It is not allowed to use saunas, pools or the Spa area for play or physical exercise.

16. Diving, use of diving equipment and freediving are not permitted in the pools in the area.

17 All movement and stay must take place in the guest area. It is not permitted to stay in the staff areas or to force entry behind counters or in enclosed staff areas.

18. staff are entitled to refuse groups of guests due to capacity and guests staying at the hotel.

19 It is not allowed to remove hygiene items, towels, bathrobes, slippers or tableware from Great Northern. Theft will be reported to the police.

20 Staff may request to see the contents of bags – however, compliance with the request is voluntary. Failure to comply may result in the police being called if theft is suspected.


Hygiene
21 When using the facilities in the Spa area, it is required for reasons of hygiene that guests have washed their body and hair without swimwear and with soap.

22. All guests must wear swimwear and a towel or bathrobe as a base layer in saunas.

23 Guests must always wear at least an appropriate swimsuit or bathrobe during treatments or stays in the Spa area. Underwear is not permitted under the swimwear and the swimwear must be clean and suitable for bathing.

24. shaving is not allowed in the Spa area.

25. all valuables and clothing must be stored in the lockers and all storage in lockers is at your own risk.

26. The waste bins provided must be used for waste disposal.


Failure to comply with the rules or staff instructions may result in suspension and/or exclusion from Great Northern.
Suspension will generally run for 24 months from the time of suspension, and exclusion will be permanent. The nature of the violation will determine the sanction. In the event of suspension or exclusion, the guest registration will be kept on file to be able to identify and reject the guest.

Expulsion will generally apply for a period of 24 months from the date of expulsion, while exclusion will be permanent. The nature of the violation will determine the sanction. In the event of expulsion or exclusion, the guest registration will be retained in order to identify and deny access to the guest.

*Great Northern accepts the following valid photo IDs: Driver’s license, passport, and identification card.
