Great northern spa

Rules of order

Great Northern Spa has the following rules of conduct for stays in and around the Spa area. The rules of conduct have been adopted to ensure a Spa environment that invites presence, contemplation and relaxation with room for everyone.


Please note that only registered hotel guests or spa guests who register as a guest with a valid photo ID are allowed to use the spa area. If you cannot show a valid photo ID, you cannot be registered and you will, therefore, not get access to the spa area.

As a guest, you must familiarise yourself with the rules prior to your visit to the spa area. If you cannot accept the rules, you are asked not to visit the spa area.


Rules of order:

1. Follow rules and instructions: You must always follow the rules of conduct, staff instructions and signs in the area

2. Access – who can use the spa: Only paying and registered guests are allowed in the spa area (registered hotel guests or spa guests registered on arrival with valid photo ID).

3. Age: The spa area can only be used by guests over 18 years of age.

4. ID check: Valid photo ID must be presented when requested by staff.

5. Responsibility and safety: All movement in and use of the spa area and other facilities is at your own risk.
The spa area can be slippery – therefore the provided slippers must be used when moving around the spa area.
Guests are responsible for being in a state of health that permits use of the facilities and are responsible for disclosing any relevant health conditions of importance.
Great Northern is not responsible for personal injury to a guest resulting from accidents, improper training, improper use of the facilities or acts or omissions of other visitors.

6. Consideration and quiet: Show consideration and respect for staff and other guests. Noisy, shouting and loud behavior is not allowed, and traffic must be subdued. Phone calls in the spa area are not allowed.

7. smoking, nicotine and euphoriant substances: Smoking, snuff, electronic cigarettes and consumption of euphoriant substances are not permitted in indoor or outdoor areas. It is not allowed to consume or be under the influence of euphoriant substances while staying at Great Northern.

8. Sauna stoves: It is not allowed to pour water, oil or anything else on the sauna stoves.

9. Inappropriate behavior: Inappropriate behavior and intimate touching will result in expulsion. Unwanted solicitations and unwanted speech are not allowed.

10. Photo/video: It is not permitted to use electronic devices with cameras or to take pictures/video in the changing rooms and spa area if other guests are visible.

11. Threats and harassment: Threatening, harassing or dominating behavior is not allowed. It is also not allowed to stay permanently in certain areas in a way that excludes other guests.

12. Bringing food and drinks: It is not allowed to enjoy brought food and drinks on Great Northern’s premises.

13. Music/sound: Talking on the phone or playing music and sound is not allowed while in the spa area.

14. No reservation of seats: No seats in the spa area can be reserved for spa guests not already present.

15. No playing or exercising: Saunas, pools and the spa area may not be used for playing or physical exercise.

16. No diving or free diving: Diving, the use of diving goggles and other equipment and free diving are not allowed in the pools.

17 Guest areas only: All movement and stay must take place in the guest area. It is not permitted to stay in staff areas.

18. capacity – groups: Staff are entitled to refuse groups of guests for capacity reasons.

19. theft: It is not allowed to remove hygiene products, towels, bathrobes, slippers or tableware from Great Northern. Theft will be reported to the police. Staff can request to see the contents of bags. Compliance with the request is voluntary. Failure to comply may result in the police being called if theft is suspected.

20. Storage at your own risk: All valuables and clothing must be stored in the lockers and all storage in lockers is at your own risk.


Hygiene
21. Shower before use: For hygiene reasons, it is a requirement that guests – without swimwear and with soap – have washed body and hair before using the facilities.

22 Sauna: All guests must wear swimwear in the saunas as well as a towel or bathrobe.

23 Attire: As a minimum, guests must wear appropriate swimwear or bathrobe during treatments or stays in the spa area. It is not permitted to wear underwear under the swimwear. Swimwear must be clean and suitable for bathing.

24. No shaving: Shaving is not allowed in the spa area or changing rooms.

Sanction: Failure to comply with the rules of conduct or staff instructions may result in expulsion and/or exclusion from Great Northern.
Expulsion will generally be for 24 months from the date of expulsion and exclusion will be permanent. The nature of the violation will determine the sanction. In case of expulsion or exclusion, the guest registration will be stored in order to identify and reject the guest.
*Great Northern accepts the following valid photo IDs: Driver’s license, passport and ID card.
