Third parties with access to cookies:
Morningtrain
Morningtrain ApS is a third-party digital agency affiliated with Great Northern.
Morningtrain only has access through an encrypted portal called LastPass.
LastPass is highly encrypted with algorithms that ensure complete security in the cloud.
Data is encrypted at the device level and is kept secret from LastPass itself. Only Morningtrain employees have access to this data. With two-step verification, this service is made even more secure. When employment with Morningtrain ends, the former employee is removed from all access in LastPass.
Morningtrain has access to data from Google Analytics. These are used solely for statistics and reporting.

Personal data is
Personal data is any kind of information that can be attributed to you to one extent or another. When you use our website, we collect and process such information. This happens, for example, when you access content, sign up for newsletters, participate in competitions or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, make purchases via the website or otherwise use the website’s services.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographical location and which pages you click on (i.e. your interests). To the extent that you explicitly consent to this and enter the information yourself, the following will also be processed Name, phone number, e-mail, address and payment information. This will typically be in connection with the creation of a login or purchase.

Security measures
We have taken technical and organizational measures to prevent your data from being accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, impaired or disclosed to unauthorized persons, misused or otherwise processed in violation of the law.

Purpose of use
The data is used to identify you as a user, show you the ads that are most likely to be relevant to you, register your purchases and payments, provide the services you have requested, such as sending a newsletter, and to optimize our services and content.

GREAT NOTHERN PRIVACY POLICY
At Great Northern A/S (“Great Northern” or “we”) we prioritize data security and confidentiality. This privacy policy sets out clear guidelines on how Great Northern A/S processes your personal data when you visit our website and we aim to make you feel comfortable with our processing of your personal data. We process personal data about you in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable legislation.

1 – When do we collect and when do we use your personal data?

We collect information about you in the following cases:

When you want to use our services or facilities

When you otherwise contact us by phone or email

When you navigate around our website

We only process your personal data if you have provided it voluntarily, for example when filling out a registration form, participating in an event or creating an agreement related to our golf club.

We use GolfBox
Please note that booking of golf time, green fees, training etc. is done through various modules in the GolfBox application (owned by GolfBox A/S).

In connection with the use of GolfBox, we only collect necessary information about you, such as name, address, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, current golf handicap, membership number with the Danish Golf Union and your previous/current golf club.
Through the use of GolfBox, we are part of a larger network of members, clubs/organizations and the Danish Golf Union (DGU).

Users of GolfBox (members, clubs/organizations, teaching pros, tour operators and DGU) can search for other members via GolfBox, and these users can add members to golf times, tournaments, lessons and courses.

Personal information (member number, name, gender, handicap and age) is visible to all users of GolfBox, as well as information about booked golf times in your own club, but also in other clubs.

If you register for a tournament, the above personal data is also visible to other users of GolfBox. In addition, the club/organization responsible for the tournament can see your contact information for use, for example, for cancellation or changes to the event.

If you book training, your personal data is visible to the Pro/trainer/club/organization providing the training, but not to other members.

If you do not want your personal information to be visible to others when you use GolfBox, you can choose to be anonymous in your user settings when you are logged into GolfBox.

Great Northern Golf Club

Personal data that you provide voluntarily and which is otherwise processed by Great Northern Golf Club in connection with the administration of your membership is not subject to this privacy policy.

We use social media
We regularly take photos and/or video recordings in order to share our guests’ experiences on the golf course or in our other facilities. This is done in accordance with applicable legislation, including obtaining your consent if required.

Logging internet and telephony usage

We are obliged to register the use of internet and internet telephony by our guests when they use our wifi. In this regard, we log the following information: i) the assigned user identity; ii) the user identity and telephone number assigned to communications that are part of a public electronic communications network; iii) the name and address of the subscriber or registered user to whom an Internet protocol address, user identity or telephone number was assigned at the time of communication; and iv) the start and end time of the communication.

In addition, we are also obliged to record and store information about telecommunications traffic generated or processed via our network.

2 – How do we use your personal data?
Personal data is collected and used to respond to your inquiry or perform other services you have ordered, including booking green fees, golf training, joining Great Northern Golf Club, booking in our restaurant, booking a room, etc.

Please note that your personal data will only be used to send you marketing material if you have given your explicit consent beforehand, unless the law allows us to contact you without your prior consent.

Images are shared on our website and/or our Facebook page or Instagram in order to share our guests’ experiences, promote Great Northern as a golf club and course and present our facilities to existing and potential members of the golf club and other guests.

Great Northern A/S keeps statistics on which areas of the website our users visit. This data does not contain personal data.

With the help of the collected data, knowledge of the users’ use of the website is obtained. This information is used to improve the website. We cannot see where you come from or surf the Internet when you leave our site.

3 – When do we transfer your personal data?
We may in certain cases transfer the personal data that we process about you. For example, your personal data may be transferred to: (i) suppliers we work with to provide services to you in connection with your visit to Great Northern A/S and/or your membership and/or use of our golf club, Great Northern Golf Club; (ii) other third parties in connection with the administration of your membership and/or use of our golf club, including GolfBox A/S (owner of the GolfBox application), the Trackman application (owned by Trackman A/S) and Dansk Golf Union; or (iii) if required by law, a court order or applicable legislation. For example, information may be disclosed to the police in case of suspected credit card fraud.

The disclosure will only be made to the extent and to those necessary to perform the service you request, for example, in connection with the creation or booking of a golf time, uploading training videos in the Trackman application (owned by Trackman A/S) or in connection with the creation of a membership at our golf club.

Trackman
When using Trackman, personal data is processed in accordance with the conditions applicable to Trackman at any time, including processing in third countries. Social media
If we share images on social media, this will be done in accordance with the terms and conditions of the social media in question.

4 – How do we protect your personal data?
We make every effort to protect the quality and integrity of your personal information.

We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure that your information is not accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, impaired or disclosed to unauthorized persons, misused or otherwise processed in violation of the law.

In practice, it is not possible to establish 100% security and therefore we cannot guarantee that the information is completely protected against anyone who intentionally tries to circumvent our security measures to gain access to the information. You provide your personal data at your own risk.

5 – What rights do you have?

You have the right to know what personal data we process about you. If it turns out that this information is incorrect or misleading, you have the right to request us to correct, block or delete this information. In addition, you can at any time object to your data being subject to further processing.

6 – How long do we store your personal data?

At Great Northern, we will only retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to provide the services and benefits you have requested or for as long as required by law. We therefore delete your personal data on an ongoing basis as the purposes for which it is processed come to an end.

We continuously update this privacy policy to ensure that we present you with the most accurate information possible and to ensure that we comply with applicable legislation.
