Beginner’s Golf

Make spring extra adventurous and sign up for one of our “Beginner’s Golf” classes – and get a unique hobby that can follow you for the rest of your life.

Begin To Golf is tailored for those who are new to golf and want to try their hand at the sport before finally joining Great Northern or another golf club.

When you sign up for our “Start golfing” program, you get a trial membership at Great Northern Golf Club. Three months of membership where you can explore the fascinating world of golf and see if it’s a new hobby for life.

There is a maximum of 30 places in the different classes (see all classes/times below).
All classes start with a joint start-up meeting on Tuesday, March 31 from 17:00-19:00.

Tuesday, March 31, 17:00-19:00: Joint start-up event for all teams
Tuesday, April 07, 10:00-11:00: Beginner 1 (Start date)
Tuesday, April 07, 16:00-17:00: Beginner 2 (Start date)
Wednesday, April 08, 15:00-16:00: Beginner 3 (Start date)
Thursday, April 09, 18:00-19:00: Beginner 4 (Start date)
Thursday, April 09, 19:00-20:00: Beginner 5 (Start date)

Included:

• Equipment loan
• Group training on either Wednesdays or Thursdays between 17:30 – 19:00
• Free play on the Academy Course throughout the course
• Common beginners game on Academy Course Tuesdays 17.15 – 19.30
• Rules and etiquette training
• Free use of training facilities, including recording areas, Driving Range

What happens after my trial membership?

“Beginner’s Golf” is a course that gives you a thorough introduction to the sport of golf, as well as enjoyable moments with other golfers – both beginners and more experienced. You will become part of a great community and be ready to play 18 holes of golf on the Great Northern Course – and all other Danish golf courses.

After completing your trial membership, we will talk about whether you want to become a full member of Great Northern Golf Club. Here there will be several membership categories that allow for customization according to your wishes and needs – whether you are ready for a full membership or want an Academy Membership for a period after your trial membership.
